I paid $50 into that lowest card, which now sits at a balance of $250. If Ashley decides to do one delivery and I get my bonus, then it will be gone forever. The card was already canceled and unable to use. I just need to pay it off. My credit score actually jumped 30 … Continue reading Lowest card payment

Regarding Ashley
I was stoked to see I actually had two comments on the same post! Yes, Ashley does know that not only will I get a bonus of $250 if she completes 30 deliveries, but she will also get a bonus of $150. I told her I would split it with her. We have the same … Continue reading Regarding Ashley
They did it!
One month after I mailed my pay-in-full money order to Navient, it's finally off record as a zero balance. As far as referring Ashley to Uber eats: She literally did 29 deliveries and quit. If she had done one more, I'd have gotten a $250 bonus.
Referral bonus- come on, Ashley!!!!!
My coworker Ashley lost both of her elderly clients and was really worried about not having money coming in. I sent her my Uber eats (on demand food delivery) referral code. I get $250 if she signs up and completes 30 deliveries. Honestly, I didn't think she'd make it to 30 deliveries. To put it … Continue reading Referral bonus- come on, Ashley!!!!!
“Paid in Full”= 12 cents
So I got it rearranged that my Navient 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 1-03 should be the 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 that the entire last payment should go to. Only it didn't say $0.00. It didn't say paid in full. I still owed 12 cents. I called. I told the operator that I wanted it paid in full and off the record, … Continue reading “Paid in Full”= 12 cents
I haven’t fallen off the bandwagon
I just need more motivation. I got a free goals day planner, and I cannot find it. I'm tired and depressed. There is some good news- Evita's therapist who her father pays for her individual sessions behind my back has agreed to do a family session with just me and Evita. My ex won't even … Continue reading I haven’t fallen off the bandwagon
Navient update
I called and spent much time on hold to get my $320 Navient payment straightened up. I called and explained that the $320 payment was meant to pay 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 1-03 in full, not to be this month's payment. First, the operator said I can let it go and "not have to pay anything for almost … Continue reading Navient update
Perkins payment
Total amount of 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 as of today: $1104.58 Due: $42.43 Paid: $54.58 Will be: $1050
Perkins interest
A few months back when I was only making the minimum of $42.43 per month on my Perkins 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧, it would add $7 in interest every time it cycled. Then as I started flooding money into it, it would only add $5 in interest when it cycled every month. This month, it only added $4.58 … Continue reading Perkins interest
Navient stupidity
I mailed a payoff money order for the lowest of my 5 or 6 Navient loans on the last day of August. I know now not to mail. Not only did they take this long to get it, but even though the money order had clear instructions to pay 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 1-03 in full, they didn't … Continue reading Navient stupidity
Oldest card update
I just paid $50 towards it. It has now gone from $400 to $350. That's all I feel comfortable doing with regards to debt tackling, especially with my health issue.
You can’t do this online
I have a CNA license (certified nurse aide). It was an $800, 4 week class that has proven much more lucrative than my 4 year degree. There are a lot of for-profit online schools now that claim you can become a CNA completely online. You absolutely cannot. You have to attend a class at (preferably) … Continue reading You can’t do this online
Taking it easy
Do I have to mention here that I paid my phone bill? That's a given, right? Tomorrow is payday, and I am making my second car payment. I'll chip away at debt as well, but since it's not gone through yet, I'll post which debt I decide to icepick once I actually do it. My … Continue reading Taking it easy
Navient payoff

As of today, my Navient total balance due is $19,224.01 The 6 separate loans within the whole Navient balance are as follows: $3840.97 $5593.46 $320.18 … Continue reading Navient payoff
Annoyances that show up and $500 tomorrow
Some $500 is coming in on Friday from the deliveries. One of these days, I'll post about how I live out and about while doing food delivery apps. When I get it, there are three things that come to mind: 1. I can pay the lowest Navient 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 off. This 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐧 has a payoff balance … Continue reading Annoyances that show up and $500 tomorrow
Confused
Today, I went shopping for my 90 year old client and accidentally left my wallet in the cart when loading my car. Her credit card was in it as well as my own credit and debit, a restaurant gift card, and $28 cash. Yesterday, I shopped for myself and Evita. I was so tempted to … Continue reading Confused
Great day with my daughter
It's ironic- ever since our custody arrangement changed, my daughter and I have had a stronger relationship. This morning, I let her make scrambled eggs by herself. https://youtu.be/6KoDcZquB_w I then took her to a pottery class that her dad originally took her to, so she could paint her piece: We came home and both slept … Continue reading Great day with my daughter
Bad job hunting advice
On Facebook, I'm in a support group for CNA's (certified nurse aides). I know being a nurse aide is one of my callings, but I also feel called to coach young adults on how to succeed without a degree. So in this group, I created a post asking what resume key words would you put … Continue reading Bad job hunting advice
Payday
My direct deposit hasn't posted yet, but I was able to log into payroll and see how much it would be. I decided that all I'm going to do with it is pay my car insurance (full coverage now, ugh) and wait for my consolidator to withdraw my monthly auto draft of $615 All the … Continue reading Payday
Who I was
When I was younger, a friend told me, "Do you know what I admire about you?" I said, "What?" She said, "Whenever you want to do something, you just do it. You don't worry that you can't, or that it will turn out wrong. You're willing to take that risk, and you go for it." … Continue reading Who I was
